Sacred Heart Parents' Association

Welcome to the Sacred Heart Parents' Association page. Sacred Heart School thrives because of the incredible support and involvement of our parents. Through volunteering, forming lifelong friendships, and contributing to our community, parents play a vital role in enriching the school experience. Whether it's helping with pizza lunch, supporting special events, or showing appreciation to our teachers, there’s a place for everyone to make an impact.

We need you! Membership in SHPA is automatic upon enrollment and includes all parents and guardians. Together, we can strengthen our school community, share our talents, and create lasting bonds. Our next SHPA board slate will be selected in March 2026, but we welcome support year-round!

Our Mission:

Fostering Faith & Compassion: To unite families in a community of faith, encouraging students to act with compassion, work for justice, and share their God-given talents in service to society.
Building Community: Promoting a sense of community among parents, faculty, staff, and students.
Partnering for Excellence: Collaborating with the school administration to ensure the best opportunities for Sacred Heart students.

2025-2026 Goals

Happy Families - Organize programs and events that help families connect in meaningful ways. Examples include:

Family events, pizza lunches, used uniform shop, after-school clubs, Trunk or Treat, holiday giving tree, teacher appreciation week, Fun Day, and the last day car parade.

How You Can Help

Stay Informed – Follow us on Facebook, attend our meetings and watch for info about events and programs.
Get Involved – Volunteer, donate, and participate in special events. We’re always looking for support with enrichment programs, after-school clubs, and events like Trunk or Treat.

Looking for Gently Used Uniforms?

SHPA Used Uniform Request Form. Mrs. Cook will check the responses weekly.
Used Uniform Shop: Open once a month in the 3-bay garage office (ES/MS parking lot)

To donate & purchase gently used school uniforms (managed by the SHPA).
Families with gently used uniforms to donate post photos of items available.
Please include sizes and conditions (NWT, excellent, good, fair). Items in poor condition should NOT be posted.
Only official uniform items should be posted. No off-brand or retired uniform items should be listed.
Donors and Recipients are required to coordinate pick up of items.
A donation of $5 per items to the SH Parents' Association is requested via cash or PayPal handle shpa@sacredheartkingston.com
