Sacred Heart Parents' Association

Welcome to the Sacred Heart Parents' Association page. One of the reasons Sacred Heart School is such a special place is parent involvement. Not only do parents provide support to our school through manpower, they make friendships that last a lifetime. There is a job for everyone, whether you want to volunteer for pizza lunch, help with special events, or support our teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day.

We need you! Membership in SHPA is automatic with school enrollment and includes all parents or guardians of students. Make an impact, share your talents, and strengthen your bond within our community. The next SHPA board slate will be in March 2023, but board members are looking for support year round!

Our Mission:

To bring together families in a community of faith that encourages students to act with compassion, to work for a just society, and to pursue opportunities to develop and share their God-given talents in service to society.
Promote a sense of community among parents, faculty, staff and students.
Partner with the administration to provide the best opportunities the students of Sacred Heart.

2023-2024 Goals

Happy Families - Programs, events and offerings that help connect us in a fun and meaningful way. (Examples: Family events, pizza lunches, used uniform shop, after school clubs and enrichment programs, Trunk or Treat, holiday giving tree, teacher appreciation week, fun day, last day car parade)

Get Involved – Volunteer or participate in special events, donate, and help spread the word! We are always looking for those that research enrichment programs, volunteer to lead and after-school club or register a vehicle for the Trunk or Treat.

Looking for Gently Used Uniforms?

If you are in need of uniforms please use the SHPA Used Uniform Request Form. Mrs. Gojnycz will check the responses every few weeks. Or use our private Facebook group page for Sacred Heart Kingston Parent Association families: https://www.facebook.com/groups/shpafamilies
To donate & purchase gently used school uniforms (managed by the SHPA).
Families with gently used uniforms to donate post photos of items available.
Please include sizes and conditions (NWT, excellent, good, fair). Items in poor condition should NOT be posted.
Only official uniform items should be posted. No off-brand or retired uniform items should be listed.
Donors and Recipients are required to coordinate pick up of items.
A donation of $3 per items to the SH Parents' Association is requested via cash or PayPal handle shpa@sacredheartkingston.com
