This year's boys tennis team is very young. Of the eight players, six are seventh or eighth graders. Naturally, the age, skill, and experience levels the players are facing is difficult to overcome. Our players, however, are learning and conducting themselves very well. Conor Greeley is the captain and leader of the team with three out of four wins at first singles. He is a great role model to the younger players since he is someone who played as an eighth grader and has made himself into one of the top players in the league. The boys show up every day for practice and their improvement is measurable. If they stick with it, in a few years, Sacred Heart will be one of the top teams around.
