A one hour well-rounded fitness class that encompasses multiple mind-body disciplines: Tai Chi, Yoga, Kickboxing, and Pilates, each choreographed to uplifting music. Studies show combining multiple style practices improves mental focus, enhances self-mastery, increases physical fitness, improves circulation, breathing, and posture, and reduces physical and mental stress.
This is a low-impact workout; all fitness levels are welcome, as options are offered for each pose and exercise.
Requirements: Participants should bring a beach towel or Yoga mat. Students will change after school and should bring breathable workout clothes: shorts or yoga pants and t-shirts or tank tops. Participants should also bring a bottle of water. Students are allotted 15 minutes to change between dismissal and the start of class.
