For over 10 years Mad Science has been providing exceptional Science programming to schools and organizations in an effort to spark the imagination and curiosity of children by providing them with fun, entertaining, and educational activities which will instill a clear understanding of what science is and how it affects the world around them. Rockets, Energy, Chemistry, Electricity, Magnets, Optical Illusions, and Machines are just a few examples of the science activities that they can experience in Mad Science club.
The after school clubs involve fun explorations into science and technology, and include a lot of fascinating equipment, supplies, and take home materials which the children can build themselves. Since children learn by doing, all of the workshops are project based and often include a “make and take” project that the children construct during class time and then bring home.
Proven Curriculum: all of the program curricula have been developed and tested by the internationally acclaimed Mad Science Group
Engaging: We keep the children engaged using fun, safe, hands on/minds on inquiry based methods presented by the Mad Scientists.
Extendable to Home: In addition to any make and take projects that the children complete, they also take home a card after each class that summarizes the day’s activities and provides an additional experiment that they can conduct at home to help encourage parent involvement.
Conduct: All children are expected to adhere to basic behavioral guidelines. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
*** Parent volunteers would be appreciated to assist the children with the activities.***
