Sacred Heart has a long tradition of welcoming students from all over the world to our school community!

Since 2010, International students have been enrolled at Sacred Heart High School from a variety of nations, including China, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, and Vietnam.

For the current academic year we have the following numbers of International students:
  • China: 29
  • South Korea: 1
  • Italy: 1
  • Spain: 1
  • Switzerland: 1
  • Mexico: 1
These numbers and the range of countries represented are indicative of the recent upward trend in international student enrollment.

Partner agencies such as EduBoston, STS Education, and International Experience help to match students from other countries with our school. Because we are committed to diversifying our international community, we have relationships with many agencies all specializing in different parts of the world.

When international students join our community they are met with a system of support designed to ease the transition and ensure that they benefit from the full Sacred Heart experience. We have a full-time International Student Program Coordinator on our staff who provides academic support to the international students and serves as a liaison between the school and our host families as well as our partner agencies.

Our school multi-cultural club, known as "We are the World" Club, helps to organize fun, cultural activities, events, and field trips.

"We have an obligation to prepare all of our students to be successful in our ever shrinking, multicultural world. We must ensure that our students experience diverse viewpoints, and what better way than to have students from other nations study in our school."
