Sacred Heart Helps Bring Holiday Cheer to the Homeless

The Sacred Heart community was hard at work this weekend doing what we do best, helping others! Santa’s “elves” visited Boston to help with Christmas in the City.
Christmas in the City is a non-profit organization that organizes the largest Christmas party in Boston complete with its own carnival inside the convention center! Thousands of homeless or poverty stricken families benefit from the aid of the many volunteers, and Sacred Heart's groups who helped on both Saturday and Sunday did not disappoint!
From creating thousands of dinner place settings for the more than 5,000 guests, making bows for decorations, helping with balloon centerpieces, to being escorts and helpers as the families left the party, the Sacred Heart community outdid themselves. Thanks to our many chaperones, including Mrs. Swanson, Mr. Swanson, Mr. Ray. Mrs. Koylion, and Mrs. Schumann, we all had a very rewarding and fun experience!
