Jennifer Uribe '15 Awarded a Fulbright Scholarship

Sacred Heart alumna Jennifer Uribe '15 has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to serve as an English Teaching Assistant in Malaysia for one year.

The Fulbright program, one of the most prestigious and competitive fellowship programs in the world, selects students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary teaching worldwide. Jennifer is currently a senior at Saint Michael's College in Vermont, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Applied Linguistics. During her time at St. Mike's, she has actively participated in service trips to the Dominican Replublic and Guyana and is preparing to lead a service trip to Guatemala. Jennifer is excited about representing the U.S. as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in the beautiful multilingual country of Malaysia.
